Skyrim is back by Bethesda for every electronic device possible. People claimed why did they even come up. The only change they could identify is the graphics becoming marginally better.
Fortunately, the re-release of Skyrim Special Edition mods has come up with an addition of 64-bit support which offers a more stable gaming experience.
What are Skyrim Special Edition Mods?
Skyrim mods is a community-run hardware modification software. It allows gamers to download the mods and have a better gaming adventure. Subsequently, Skyrim created and shared many add-on modifications (mods) to the general gaming life since 2011.
The remastered Skyrim Special Edition was released in October 2016. The version is only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The special edition comes up with amazing features such as
The Special Edition mods by Skyrim also contain all the original patches installed. The developers are in the process of enabling ongoing patch support with the Special Edition Patch.
So, here’s how to install Skyrim mods on PC
You’ll be operating the Nexus Mod Manager, known for its best functions which are – to maintain items systematically, and make installing larger files easy.
The website Nexus is one of the best platforms to update various mod titles including Skyrim Special Edition. The website helps Modders to publish their content and enables discussion, feedback, support and more.
How to download Skyrim mods with Nexus Mod Manager
To run Skyrim SE to the main menu, allow the game to boot to the initial menu and then exit. It generates the necessary .ini file for editing. This file also ensures that you don’t use with the mods that are not working correctly on a later date.
How to Install Skyrim Mods Manually
You may notice the load order populates when mods are installed. It is crucial because some of the mod files need to be downloaded by the game in a particular order.
The authors of Mod generally provide information in mod descriptions on the Nexus website. Hence, their content is in an orderly set. Nexus also checks with the problems in the setup.
Download LOOT for Skyrim Special Edition
We highly recommend you to download and install LOOT and run it each time you install or remove a mod. Though the LOOT doesn’t assist SSE, the developer is actively working to get a firm launch shortly. The new Skyrim might work with LOOT if people get involved with snapshot build.

Why Does Every Gamer need to Update Modders?
Modders are responsible for modifying hardware, software or virtually anything to improve the visual gaming experience. Game designers don’t intend to conceive these modders in their original work.
Modding has arguably become an increasingly important aspect in the world of games as they bring intensity to the original game. They can be of great use a means of self-expression.
How Modders Help Gaming
Therefore, with the help of Modders such as the Skyrim Special Edition, gaming becomes a thrilling experience.
About This File

If, like 90% of the known world you're still playing, you'll probably want to know to install Skyrim mods. The Elder Scrolls Skyrim is renowned its fantastic, inventive and occasionally crazy mods. However, what’s the point in finding out about the best mods in Skyrim if you don’t know how to install them properly? Luckily, we’ve got you covered on that front. Here’s how to install Skyrim mods on your PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
If you're in the market for a console to play it on, be sure to check out our best PS4 bundle deals and best Xbox One bundle roundup, as well as the best Xbox One accessories you can find to accompany them.
How to install Skyrim mods on PS4 & Xbox One
Installing Skyrim mods on console is actually quite easy, but there are a few prerequisites you’ll need to take care of beforehand. First, you need to make a Bethesda.net account. To do this, all you have to do is visit the Bethesda website and click Log In/Sign Up. You’ll be prompted for a Username and Password, but just click Sign Up at the bottom of the pop-up and you’ll be transferred to a prompt for your email.
Add your email and decide whether you want to opt in or out of Bethesda’s newsletter. Click Continue, add a Username and Password, set a Security Question, sign the User Agreement, and you’re all set — you’re now an official member of Bethesda.net, meaning that you’re ready to install some mods.
The rest is easy. Next time you boot up Skyrim, load a game and go to the main menu. Here, you’ll see an option called “Mods,” which is obviously the one you need to click if you’re planning to mod Skyrim. The next thing that pops up will be a prompt to connect your Bethesda account to the platform and Skyrim account you want to mod. Sign in using your Bethesda account details and you’ll be all set up in no time.
The next thing you need to do is head back over to the Bethesda site. In the top-left corner, you’ll see a dashboard icon which will trigger a drop-down menu. At the bottom-left, you’ll see a “Mods” title, which has “Skyrim: Special Edition” as a subheader. Click this and, if you’re signed in, you’ll be able to start choosing mods you want to download and enable in your game. For convenience, you can access the Skyrim mods page here.
You can scroll through the mods for ages, as there are plenty of them to pick from. Clicking them will offer a description of what exactly they do — some make it easier to level up, others add in new companions or quests, and some even turn dragons into characters from Thomas the Tank Engine. Once you’ve found a few you like, download them and they should be available to access from the aforementioned in-game Mods section on the main menu.
After enabling/disabling mods, you’ll need to reload a save or create a new one to install them. Next time you play, you’ll notice the game is slightly, or perhaps even very different. For example, I installed a mod here that allowed me to craft a Spell Tome at a Forge, which taught me how to use magic to throw sweet rolls at people.
To disable mods, you’ll need to access the mods section at the main menu. You can’t disable active mods from the “Mods” section on the pause screen — that’s just there to remind you which mods you have active at the moment.
How to install Skyrim mods on PC and use Nexus mods
Aside from having Skyrim itself installed, the very first thing you’ll need to do in order to install Skyrim mods on PC is install the Nexus Mod Manager. Here, you’ll have access to all kinds of Skyrim mods, which can all be downloaded and installed really easily.
Once you’ve installed Nexus, you’ll need to run it. From here, you’ll be asked which game you’d like to manage — if you’ve got Skyrim installed, it should show up as an option here. Click Skyrim and you’ll be asked to choose a destination folder for mods you download from the Nexus website. You may be prompted with an alert pop-up, but just click okay and move forward.
From here, you’ll be able to start downloading mods from Nexus. Each mod has its own description, so read through those and download whichever ones pique your curiosity. Once you’re satisfied you have all the mods you want to run, click “Files” in the top-left corner and you’ll see an installation option beside each mod in your library. Install these and then boot up the game, which should be a bit different now that you’ve got mods installed.
Something to bear in mind is that once you start to run several mods at a time, you’ll see an option to change the Load Order in Nexus. This is important because some mods interfere with the performance of others, so one might need to be loaded earlier than the rest. Most of this information is included in mod descriptions, so remember to keep an eye on those whenever you’re experimenting with new types.
That’s all there is to it! Mods are very easy to install — the most time-consuming aspect of the whole process is actually choosing which ones you want to use. There are so many fantastic mods to choose from, which is why we’ve taken the liberty to outline some of the best Skyrim mods today. That way, you don’t need to spend hours scrolling through loads of mods — you can just try these ones out and see for yourself how fresh Skyrim remains in 2019.
One last thing to note is that enabling mods disables trophies and achievements, so if you’re trying to get maximum completion, you’ll need to make sure you aren’t running any other mods. Otherwise, even if you fulfil the requirements of an achievement, it won’t be unlocked and you’ll just have to do it again anyway. If you’re not worried about this though, feel free to start downloading Skyrim mods to your heart’s content!

Overview
This mini guide will show you how to port your Skyrim mods to Skyrim Special Edition (SSE). I am assuming that you know how to make mods for Skyrim and use the Creation Kit.
This is a work in progress. I will write down here any new findings, as for the time being I've only ported some mods adding NPCs.
Required tools
Porting Skyrim mods to SSEInstall the original Skyrim mod in the SSE folders
The easiest way of doing this is using Nexus Mod Manager.
The mod won't work in SSE right now, but you need to install it in the SSE folders for being able of editing it with the Creation Kit.
Open the mod in the SSE Creation Kit
This will save the esp file in a format that works fine with SSE. For NPCS, it also will create/update the facegen data (meshes and textures) of the NPCs added or modified by the mod. There is no need to use the CTRL+F4 keys to do that.
Now you can test the mod in game and see if it works as intended.
Pack the mod for SSE
To pack the mod for usage with Skyrim Special Edition:
And this should be it :)
Bugs and how to Fix themNPCs pink face (face texture not loading)
For XboxOne, the face texture detailmap does not seem to work properly (it works for PC, though). To fix this bug, paint all the details on the face texture and use the default blank detailmap for all NPCs.
Vanilla NPCs with black or pixelated face
Installing two mods that modify the face of the same vanilla NPC will result in the NPC having a completely black or pixelated face, in some cases the modified NPC may have red lines across his/her face. To fix this, when packing the mod:
Bald character (hair mesh not rendering in game)
Some meshes that worked in Skyrim don't work in SSE and become invisible when viewed in-game. To fix this, load the mesh in the last version of NifSkope and:
If on the last step the whole screen turns black then this process didn't work and you will need to use outfit studio: Open the nif in the latest version of outfit studio, save as .obj file. Then you will have to export as an SSE nif. This means re-doing all weighting, collision, etc. so it may not be possible for all files, but for most armor, outfit studio's automatic weighting should work fine.
Whilst modding support isn’t as prominent as PC, it’s still an improvement to previous games on console. There is no adult section on Bethesda’s website, so I’ve taken a look through the most popular mods of all time and included ones which had adult themes. All the buttons below link back to Bethesda’s site, where you can download the mod on your Xbox.If you want to check out some more of our Fallout 4 content, check our dedicated area. The list below is in no particular order. Fallout 4 hair mods pc.
'Exploding' outfits
Some of the outfit meshes made for Skyrim 'explode' (i.e. some vertices go to the infinite and the mesh looks as if it had exploded) when used in SSE. To fix that the easiest way is using Ousnius' SSE NIF Optimizer. This tool fixes most of the problems with Skyrim meshes.

When the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, players will be able to download and install mods created for the game by the community. Today, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to install mods on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered.
Skyrim 18+ ModsHow to Install Skyrim Mods on Xbox One
Installing mods for the Xbox One version of Skyrim works similar to Fallout 4. Xbox One players should be used to this process, as mods already launched for the most recent Fallout game, but we’ll go over the process for any newcomers.
The first thing you need to do is head into the game via your Xbox One launcher. Once the game loads up, look for the Mods selection on the Main Menu. Click this option, then sign in to your Bethesda Account. You are required to link your account to a Bethesda.net account if you want to play the game with mods. No matter which mods you decide to pick up, make sure you’re ready to take on the dangerous world with these beginner tips for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Once you have an account made and are logged in, you’ll be able to choose from an assortment of mods that are available for the Xbox One. Once they are installed, you can enable each one from the individual mod’s page, or by pressing the Y button to bring up the load order.
How To Manually Install Skyrim Mods Special Edition PcHow to Install Skyrim Mods for PlayStation 4
Installing mods for Skyrim on PlayStation 4 will work just like it does for the Xbox One version of the game. Download and install the Special Edition, then open the game from the main menu. Once the game loads, select the Mods area and then sign in to your Bethesda.net account. After you are signed in, take a look through the queue and choose the mods that you want to download and install. Now that the mods you want are downloaded, head to their pages or press Triangle to bring up the mod launch order and activate them. If you add any crafting mods, make sure you take a look at our advanced guide to crafting for more details about how the system works.
Using mods can cause your game to crash or become less responsive. Because of this, we always recommend reading each mod description to make sure that it doesn’t interfere with any of the other mods that you currently have installed. If you find yourself suffering from multiple crashes or glaring issues, check your mod Load Order to make sure any dependent mods are launching after the ones they rely on to work properly.
It’s also important to remember that, unlike PC, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One do have a mod limiter. This means that the Xbox One can only have 2 gigabytes of mods running at a time, while the PlayStation 4 only supports a maximum of 800 megabytes. There are still plenty of smaller mods out there to help you enjoy the game, so hop in, find some that you like and get to adventuring.
